One of the finest "finds" of vintage Negro League materials that we've handled comprised of full box seat tickets and general admission tickets for the Hilldale Daisies Negro League baseball team. Includes (8) smaller general admission 50 cent tickets and (25) full box seat tickets to various games as numbered on each ticket. Tickets are all marked Globe Ticket Co. in Philadelphia with some having advertisements for Townes Restaurant on 16th street in Phila. The Hilldale club developed from an amateur level team around 1910-15 to become one of most powerful in Negro League history inclusive of World Championship in 1925. The offered group is the only Hilldale related tickets of any type that we've handled and along with the consignor we felt it appropriate and important to offer the group in its' entirety given the exteme rarity of this type of ticket: Range EX-NM ($2,000.00-$3,000.00) $1,550.00

Printed photographic style poster on thick stock paper advertising the Crawfords team with images of numerous players incl. The interior paragraph notes that the Crawfords hold first place thus far in the season and they would be declared co-champions of The Negro National League for 1933. Has a few small surface wrinkles and some lt. age spotting, retains remnants of vintage adhesive on back as it had been professionally removed from old backing for conservation.
