Description: Rare 1939 Philadelphia Phillies game worn road uniform. High quality grey flannel jersey with stylized "Phillies" applied lettering on front, retains orig. #7 on back as well. Collar has "Hollingsworth" chain stitched alongside Spalding tag. Sleeve once had Centennial patch which is now missing. Pants are matching from 1939 with Spalding tag in waist with "Young" chain stitched alongside. Jersey is missing top button and has a small repaired hole under one arm, pants have some general usage wear incl. small hole. Also includes pair of high quality navy blue wool socks. From the collection of Joe Dugan, you can almost picture Joe walking around the corner wearing these treasured shirts!: EX
