Description: Lot of (2) vintage items with relation to Army football coach Colonel "Red" Blaik. Blaik was the coach of the Army football squad for many years in the first half of the 20th century and the offered items were obtained from his former secretray (Then 90 years of age). Includes an original Burris Jenkins illustrative print of the coach speaking to his players. 16"x20" matted and framed signed by Jenkins at bottom, has a 4" tear on right border otherwise clean: VG-EX. Lot also includes Coach Blaik's personal West Point gymnasium chair. High quality art nouveau style chair with painted cast iron frame surrounding wooden seat upholstered in blue leather. Seat is a "riser" style chair which would need to be attached to a base to be free standing: EX
