Description: Early baseball paper item and scrapbook collection. Small group of items originating from a single owner to include: 1899 issue of "The Illustrated Record" newspaper w/Jeffries vs. Fitzsimmons engraving on cover; Vintage scrapbook incl. early baseball news photos and articles; Illustrative boxing trade card c.1890's; and an unusual Ty Cobb color litho. card c.1910. Cobb card is of thick paper stock and has an appearance not unlike a T3 cabinet card, measures 5"x7 1/4" and was possibly a cover for a child's notebook although we have never encountered an intact example: Range GD-EX
