Description: April 14,1910 New York vs. Boston Opening Day panoramic photograph. Huge 10"x74" image of the teams lined up in the stadium at Boston with marching band at far right side. Players incl. Mathewson (holding ball ready for action), Meyers, McGraw, Merkle, Herzog, and Mattern. Size is such that the viewer must be present to fully appreciate this fine piece of early photography. Has a vertical surface crease at center and some minor repaired tears at both ends but retains overall strong appearance. Vintage baseball panoramics of quality from this era are becoming exceedingly scarce with the offered example rating among the most attractive we've handled: EX-EX/MT (With note to crease)
