Description: Rare Eddie Cicotte single signature baseball. Clean slightly off white Spalding Official Little League ball signed on side panel, “Eddie Cicotte White Sox Chicago”. Signature and salutation rate 2/3 out of 10, “To Geo. W. Booker” has also been written by Cicotte on sweet spot. Cicotte was one of the eight ‘Black’ Sox that were banned from baseball after the 1919 World Series. Originated from the Barry Halper collection , first example we’ve encountered.
