Description: Significant 1933 American League All-Star team auto. baseball. Lightly toned Harridge AL ball signed by (22) players incl. Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, Mack, Cronin, Simmons, Dickey, Grove, and Lazzeri. Sigs range from 3-7 out of 10 with majority grading better then 5. 1933 was the inaugural All-Star game played in Chicago with the AL winning 4-2 behind the first home run in All-Star history hit by non other then Babe Ruth. Ball originated from the personal collection of Charles Monaghan who worked in the Phila. Athletics clubhouse for 35 years. This is the first example of this difficult ball that we’ve handled as they are rarely offered for sale.
