Description: 1941 Play Ball baseball card complete set. Superb example of this vintage card classic featuring many HOF’er cards, this set was housed in a ‘magnetic’ striped page album and a number of the cards have varying grades of residue from the stripes remaining on the backs. Following grades are NOT including the striping on back but key cards will be notated with “S” if striping is present. Please call for more details if necessary. Key cards grade as follows: Hubbell #6: VG-EX (S), Ott #8: EX, Foxx #13: GD (S, back abrasions), Williams #14: EX/MT-NM (S, minute edge flake on back), Cronin #15: EX/MT-NM, Greenberg #18: EX (S, tiny back abrasions), Gehringer #19: VG , Reese #54: EX-MT (S, corner abrasion on back), Dickey #70: EX/MT-NM (S, flake on back), DiMaggio #71: EX/MT-NM (S, edge abrasions at bottom of back), and Gomez #72: EX (S, flakes on back). The fronts of this card set are among the cleanest we’ve encountered and it is possible that the ‘striping’ on backs will clean: Range VG-NM
