Description: Rare Bob Cousy Boston Celtics warm up jacket c.late 1950's/early 1960's. Beautiful green fleece warm up jacket worn by Hall of Fame member Bob Cousy features "Boston" team name across the front in white on gold lettering. Both sleeves display matching clover leaf logo patches with "Cousy" nameplate affixed to the reverse by its original snap fasteners. Horace Partridge manufacturer's tagging remains inside the collar. The jacket shows evident use while retaining its original color and strong eye appeal. Missing one of its original seven buttons. Appropriately deemed the "Houdini of the Hardwood," Bob Cousy was truly a magician on the basketball court and single handedly revolutionized the passing element of the game. Cousy led the league in assists for 8 of his first 11 years and was elected to the Hall of Fame as one of the 50 Greatest Players.
