Description: Collection of Paul Rundell's basketball career mementos and personal effects. Paul Rundell coached San Francisco State's men's basketball team to four conference championships and one NCAA regional title in the 1960s. Rundell's record over 10 seasons at S.F. State was 120-135. After leaving the job in 1970, Rundell was the school's athletic director for eight years. Rundell, an Ohio native, played at San Diego State and began his coaching career there as an assistant. He was a member of the 1955 U.S. team in the Pan American Games. Grouping includes Rundell's coaching cap and whistle, 1960 and 1963 SFSU conference champions gold charms (2), 1963 SFSU conference champions gold charm, 1943 championship gold charm, 1960 and 1965 NCAA championship medallions (2), 1990 and 1995 NCAA championship watches in original presentation boxes (2), various passes and correspondence and an album documenting Rundell's career.
