Description: 1890 "Home Plate" baseball advertising pocket schedule. Obscure (190) page pocket schedule chronicles all baseball games played for the Amer. Association, National League, and Player's League. The booklet was issued by a New York tavern titled the "Home Plate" with compliments of proprietor Nick Engel. Schedule remains fully intact with both covers and spine exhibiting some light to moderate creasing to the covers. Rare Player's League related item. Includes letter of provenance from the Boyle family: VG
