Description: Original auto. photograph of Major League Baseball players in the Army incl. Joe DiMaggio c.1943-45. Joe DiMaggio is pictured in this 8"x10" black and white photo in his Army uniform along with fellow Major Leaguers Walt Judnich, Mike McCormick, Dario Lodigiani and Jerry Priddy. Each has signed the photo in vintage black fountain pen. Signatures rate 8-9 out of 10. Photo shows excellent contrast and clarity, with a some minor creasing. Joe DiMaggio enlisted in the United States Army Air Forces on February 17th, 1943, rising to the rank of sergeant. He was stationed in Santa Ana, CA, Hawaii, and Atlantic City, NJ as a physical education instructor. He was discharged in September 1945. Photo is matted and framed.
