Description: Lot of vintage baseball equipment with Negro League attribution c.1940-50s. Includes pair of black leather cleats and a Rawlings catcher's mitt, both of which exhibit heavy usage. The glove and cleats both show age wear including surface soiling and mildew. Given the fact that both pieces were found within the collection of J.Leonard Mitchell it is highly likely they were used in some fashion during Negro League play.
