Description: Rare Whitey Ford auto. 1964 World Series professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34" long and weighs 32.4oz. The bat exhibits light use including a few ball marks and rack marks. Model K55 is stamped on the knob end with "1964 World Series Ford New York Yankees" stamped on the barrel end. Signed in black sharpie on the barrel, "Ed 'Whitey' Ford 1961 Cy Young 1974 H. of Fame". Notably scarce World Series game bat from the personal collection of Whitey Ford. Ford went 1 for 1 with a single in his lone at bat in the 1964 World Series. Includes LOA's from MEARS (A10), Hunt Auctions, Inc. (bat), JSA (auto.) and letter of provenance from Whitey Ford: EX-MT
