Description: 1986 New York Mets World Series ring. Visually impressive and historically important ring presented in commemoration of the 1986 New York Mets World Championship victory over the Boston Red Sox. Top of the ring has a large blue stone with a diamond in the center set in a baseball diamond pattern surrounded by multiple inset diamonds. "World Champions 1986" lettering encircles the bezel on top. The left shank features the Mets logo above a World Series trophy in relief and the notation "116 wins". Opposite shank features recipient's name Tillotson above a detailed Mets 25th Anniversary logo in relief. Inside band is stamped "LGB 10k".
