Description: 1972 O.J. Simpson "Outstanding Offensive Back" trophy. Impressive multi-tiered trophy stands 34" tall and includes accoutrements such as four reeded columns, four figural heads wearing football helmets, and a 5" figural football player on top. Engraved plaque on base reads, "Buffalo Bills Booster Club, Inc, 1972 Outstanding Offensive Back O.J. Simpson". Small engraved plaque on base of second tier reads, "Courtesy of Erie County Savings Bank". 1972 was a breakout season for O.J. Simpson as the Buffalo Bills running back led the league in rushing for the first of four seasons in his career. In various selections, he was named NFL Player of the Year in 1972 and was named All-Pro. Trophy shows light to moderate handling wear: EX-EX/MT
