Description: Rogers Hornsby professional model coaches-era bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 33 1/2" long and weighs 33.4oz. Based on the dating, the bat is a coach's model used by Hornsby during the 1950s. Bat exhibits excellent use incl. ball marks, rack marks, cleat marks, and general surface wear. H117 model number is stamped on the end of the knob. A 13" crack runs through the middle below the centerbrand. Regarded by many as the greatest right-handed hitter of all time, Rogers Hornsby managed the St. Louis Browns and Cincinnati Reds in 1952 and 1953. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: EX
