Lot Number: 111

Description: Ice Bowl December 31, 1967 NFL Championship game program. Rare and desirable program issued for one of the most legendary NFL games ever played. A rematch between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers, the game was played at the hallowed grounds of Lambeau Field. Game time temperatures were -13 degrees below zero with a wind chill factor hovering between -40 and -50 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperatures were so horrid that the use of whistles was suspended after becoming frozen to the referee's lips following the initial kickoff. The game itself was nearly as epic as the weather conditions, with the Packers prevailing for the second year in a row on a dramatic unannounced quarterback sneak for a touchdown by Bart Starr. The program itself presents in stunning original condition with bright color and crisp interior pages. Given the original weather conditions, programs that enter the marketplace are rarely found in this outstanding condition grade: NM
