Description: Thurman Munson professional model baseball cleats c.1970s. Pair of Spot Bilt cleats issued to Thurman Munson as a member of the New York Yankees. Black leather cleats with the Spot Bilt white logo striping on each side panel exhibit light, if any, use. Both cleats retain their original Spot Bilt tagging on the interior of the shoe tongue. The offered cleats are identical to several documented game worn cleats sold in our previous offering of the Munson collection at auction. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions, color copy of a photo picturing Munson wearing a nearly identical cleat, and letter of provenance from Diana Munson: EX-MT
