Description: Pair of miniature Louisville Slugger baseball bats with Hillerich & Bradsby mailing boxes c.1940s. Pair of unused 16" miniature Louisville Slugger baseball bats with Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig gilt facsimile signature stampings. Both bats remain in nearly pristine original condition. The boxes each retain their original Hillerich & Bradsby Co. mailing labels and are postmarked as being sent from Louisville. The boxes remain fully intact with some typical wear to the ends. First examples of period H&B miniature bat boxes that we have encountered: Bats: NM, Boxes: VG-EX
