Description: Jimmie Foxx photograph by Charles Conlon c.1930s. Exceptional 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" original black and white portrait picturing HOF'er Jimmie Foxx in a Phila. Atheltics uniform peering to the side of the camera. Image quality and composition is instantly recognizable as that of Conlon with the reverse having been inscribed by Conlon himself in the period, "Jimmy Foxx, Athletics... This picture was made by Eddie Crum without any assistance. November 13, 1933 Chas. M. Conlon". A faint "Englewood, NJ" stamping is also visible on the reverse.
