Description: Johnny Evers photograph by Charles Conlon c.1913. Striking original 5"x8" picturing Evers in a classic pose wearing a Cubs uniform while holding a bat. The image is identified on the reverse in period pencil with a date of 1913 likely by Conlon himself. Based on the accompanying images and direct provenance, the photo was likely produced in the 1920-30s period from the original glass plate negative. A full plate rendering of this image is featured in "Baseball's Golden Age: The Photographs of Charles M. Conlon" by McCabe and McCabe on page #93: EX-MT
