Description: Lou Gehrig auto. government postcard. Original government postcard is signed, "Best Wishes Ray, Lou Gehrig" in black fountain pen on the front rating 9 out of 10. The reverse is hand addressed by Gehrig to the recipient (Ray) and postmarked May 7, 1938. The front of the card is quite clean with only a few spots of toning. The back has a few surface abrasions not significantly affecting the return address. Includes LOA from JSA: Card: EX, Signature: NM-MT
