Description: 1980 Whitey Ford New York Yankees coaches home jersey. Pinstriped knit jersey issued to Whitey Ford as a coach for the 1980 New York Yankees. The shirt displays its original NY logo on the front with #16 on the reverse. "Ford 80 2" strip tag is affixed inside the collar with Wilson tag on the tail front. The jersey shows evident use and wash wear while retaining its original Thurman Munson memorial black armband on the left sleeve. Signed "Whitey Ford HOF 74" across the front. Fine vintage Yankees jersey from a HOF player displaying a significant Yankees memorial armband.
