Description: 1999 World Series Game #4 First Pitch baseball from Whitey Ford with accompanying items. G.Budig AL ball thrown out by Whitey Ford for the first pitch of Game #4 during the 1999 World Series between the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves. The ball is inscribed, "Oct. 27, 1999 1st Ball, Last Game of World Series Yanks-4 Atlanta-1 (with a period ink correction to the score written by Whitey). The ball has been signed by Ford along with Yankees battery mate, Yogi Berra, across the sweet spot. Game #4 was played at Yankee Stadium with the Yankees clinching the Series in a four game sweep of Atlanta. The lot also includes the original World Series jacket worn by Whitey Ford during the event, which has been signed across the front by Ford; a color 11"x14" photo of Yogi Berra handing the ball to Whitey Ford signed by both Berra and Ford; and Whitey Ford's signed personal ticket stub (Owner section in Row #1).
