Description: Whitey Ford 1955 All-Star Game professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 37.4oz. Bat shows light to moderate use with some general barrel wear. Uncommon tapered handle with stamped model #U1 on the knob end and "All-Star Game Ford Milwaukee 1955" on the barrel end. Issued to Whitey for the game played at Milwaukee in which he pitched the 7th inning and Stan Musial hit a dramatic walk off home run in the 12th inning to lead the NL to victory. NOTE: Whitey Ford will autograph the offered bat if the winning bidder so desires. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and letter of provenance from Whitey Ford: EX-EX/MT
