Description: Willie Mays professional model baseball bat c.1965-68. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 35.2oz. The bat shows very fine use inclusive of ball marks, stitching impressions, rack marks, and distinct cleat marks at the end of the barrel. Model #S2 is stamped on the knob end with "MAYS" block letter stamping on the barrel. The knob itself has a very small rim chip mentioned for accuracy only. Classic Willie Mays game used bat with heavy use retains a fine visual appearance. The bat originated from a teammate of Mays' and is being offered for the first time publicly.
