Description: 1949 Fenway Park autograph album and snapshot collection. Hardbound album containing approx. (45) autographs obtained at Fenway c.1949 to include Ted Williams, Tom Yawkey, Joe McCarthey, Joe Cronin, Bobby Doerr, Johnny Pesky and others. Al Dark and Hank Thompson have been traced. Other prominent non-Red Sox signatures include Joe DiMaggio (alone on page), Leo Durocher, Johnny Mize, etc. Most signatures are penned directly on the album pages, while others are cuts that have been affixed. Accompanied by a collection of (18) snapshots mostly of Red Sox players on and off the field (multiple shots of Ted Williams). Four of these snapshots are affixed to pages inside the album. Also included is a loose ticket stub to a July 1, 1950 game at Fenway. Includes LOA from JSA: Album: EX, Photos: average EX
