Description: Fine Roberto Clemente single signed baseball c.1970-72. Lightly toned Feeney NL ball signed across the sweet spot by Roberto Clemente in blue ink. Signature presents in the more uncommon, and desirable, form with Clemente's last name horizontally following his first name as opposed to underneath. The autograph remains in outstanding original condition rating 9 to 9.5 out of 10. The ball itself is unused with bold mfg. stampings and a few areas of minor surface toning typically seen on Feeney and MacPhail baseballs from this era. Non-personalized sweet spot Clemente single signed baseballs in high condition grade are incredibly rare with the offered example numbering as the second that we have handled in over 15 years.
