Description: Thurman Munson's First Major League Home Run baseball. Soiled and game used Cronin AL baseball was hit for a home run by Thurman Munson on August 10, 1969 in a game between the Oakland Athletics and the New York Yankees. The home run was hit in the 6th inning off of A's pitcher Lew Krausse. The ball is inscribed in period black marker by Munson himself, "Aug. 10, 1969 1st Home Run". The offered baseball was hit for Munson's inaugural home run just two days after Munson's initial Major League debut. It would be his only home run in the 22 games he played during the 1969 season.
