Description: Complete set of custom made Thurman Munson golf clubs by Toney Penna c.1977. Fine quality unused complete set of golf clubs consisting of (11) irons and (3) woods as presented to Thurman Munson in honor of his 1976 American League MVP award. The irons each feature impressed "T.Munson MVP 1976" lettering on the club along with a Toney Penna facsimile signature. The woods only have the Tony Penna facsimile signature. Tony Penna model golf clubs were among the finest quality manufactured in the era. Includes the original shipping box with Rawlings label addressed to Thurman Munson and letter of provenance from Diana Munson: NM
