Description: Exceptional Thurman Munson professional model game used baseball bat c.1971-79. Adirondack 302 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 32.2oz. Model #369A is stamped on the knob end along with a vintage "15" written in black marker which is also present on the end of the barrel. "Thurman Munson" block letter stamping on the barrel end remains uncommonly intact for a bat with heavy use as the foil stamping was susceptible to surface wear. Overall use is simply incredible including heavy pine tar residue, ball marks, rack marks, stitching impressions, and grain swelling. The offered bat was the only game used exemplar within the collection. Based on usage characteristics, condition, and unimpeachable provenance, the offered bat is without question the finest Thurman Munson bat extant.
