Description: 1976 Hank Aaron Milwaukee Brewers home jersey and pants. Tackle twill pull over jersey with Brewers team name across the front and player number 44 below and on the back in matching blue on gold lettering. ôDesigned and Tailored Exclusively for the Milwaukee Brewers by Sand-Knitö mfg. tag on the left front tail with an additional size ô44ö tag below. Also present is a strip tag reading ôAaron 76 44ö denoting player, year, and uniform number. Includes matching pants with identical tagging in the waistband (size 36). Uniform exhibits visible use with light soiling (primarily on the back of the jersey) and minor pilling. The 1976 season was AaronÆs final year in baseball capping off a career which left him as the gameÆs leading homerun hitter. The offered uniform originates directly from Milwaukee Brewers teammate Ed Sprague and is being sold for the first time publicly. With regard to dating period, condition, and direct provenance, the offered jersey is certainly among the finest Hank Aaron uniforms of its type to enter the marketplace and was very likely used during some of the final, and significant, home runs of his illustrious career.
