Description: Rare 1911 New York Highlanders large format team photograph. Matte finish 12"x16" sepia tone image picturing the New York Highlanders (Yankees) posed in "NY" formation seated on bleachers outdoors. The players are wearing uniforms and NY sweaters including Ford, Warhop, Gardner, Cree, and Hal Chase who is seated, smiling, at the bottom. The photo has two tears which have been tape repaired from the reverse and an area of loss to the bottom right corner which does encroach into the players at the bottom. Image quality remains very strong. Photo has been signed by the photographer and dated 1911. Matted and framed with the losses at the bottom right corner minimized.
