Description: Gillette Safety Razor baseball trolley-car advertising broadside c.1910-15. Rare original trolley car advertisement for Gillette Safety Razors depicting Bill Donovan (Tigers), Frank Chance (Cubs), John Kling (Cubs), Honus Wagner (Pirates) and Hughie Jennings (Tigers). The light cardboard stock advertisement is blank-backed with some creasing and light general soiling with several areas of restoration/inpainting. The offered sign is the first example that we have handled and may in fact be the only surviving exemplar. 10"x20" matted and framed: VG
