Scarce 6 1/4"x19" paper broadside advertising the inaugural baseball game played at the opening of Pittsburgh's Forbes Field on June 30, 1909. The game featured the Pitt. Pirates vs. the World Champion Chicago Cubs. The sign has some edge chipping and light creasing as commonly found on this type of paper display. There is also a chip on the top edge.
