Description: Rare Spalding "Black Betsy" baseball decal bat c.1915-20. High quality two toned "Black Betsy" baseball bat modeled after Shoeless Joe Jackson's favorite measures 35" long with fine original black painted surface and a "Black Betsy" decal on the barrel end. Decal remains approx. 20% intact. Thick stock handle remains uncracked. "Spalding Black Betsy Model" is stamped at the centerbrand area. The bat itself has been waxed at some point displaying very nicely with all stampings clearly legible. One of only three examples that we have handled: Bat: EX-EX/MT, Decal: GD
