Description: Lot of materials with relation to Bill McKechnie to include: original cartoon artwork c.1940 (14"x17"); Jan. 26, 1926 Bill McKechnie Testimonial Dinner program picturing McKechnie on the front cover; 1962 Governor's Baseball Dinner souvenir glass ashtray; Sept. 29, 1925 "McKechnie Night" invitation; Sepia tone 8"x10" photo of McKechnie with Charlie Grimm and Colonel R.C. Throckmorton signed to McKechnie by the Colonel; 1951 Bill McKechnie Kiwanis Club certificate award; Cabinet photograph of composer George M. Cohan inscribed and signed to McKechnie from wife Agnes Cohan after McKechnie served as a pallbearer at the Cohan's funeral (12"x15" overall size, very fine image); 12"x19" cardboard sign notating "Bill McKechnie Day" at Forbes Field and dozens of names from supporters; and a leather bound album given to McKechnie at a 1939 Testimonial dinner which has been signed by hundreds of attendees and associates.
