Description: Rare Roberto Clemente 1965 All-Star game professional model baseball bat. Over the course of his illustrious career, Roberto Clemente appeared in a total of twelve All-Star games including the 1965 contest played in Minnesota. The 1965 Midsummer Classic featured one of the most impressive lineups in National League history including Mays, Aaron, Stargell, Rose, Banks, F.Robinson, and Clemente. The NL captured the game by a score of 6-5. The offered Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 36" long and weighs 35oz. Model number U1 is stamped on the knob end with "1965 All Star Game Roberto Clemente Minnesota" stamped on the barrel end. The bat shows tremendous use inclusive of post All-Star game play by Clemente including cleat marks, ball/stitch impressions, and pine tar residue on the handle. One of only a handful of Clemente All-Star game bats known and among the finest condition examples to have entered the marketplace.
