Description: Fine Ty Cobb cabinet photograph c.1912. Very early formal studio portrait picturing a young and determined Ty Cobb posed in street clothes. Image size measures 7"x10" on its original 10"x14" mount. Reverse is stamped with accession number and 1912 date, and has "Ty Cobb" written in period fountain pen. Photo quality is nearly flawless with excellent contrast and virtually no wear. Mount has a few small edge chips which are not visible under the matting. Matted and framed: EX-MT
