Description: Scarce 1923 Maple Crispette Babe Ruth #8. Key card from this very difficult set as the cards were often redeemed (as advertised on the reverse) for prizes. Card is well centered with very fine registration and image quality. The front has two "microscopic" surface flakes not easily visible to the naked eye along with a line crease and light even corner wear. Advertising reverse has some line creasing and very light toning. One of only a handful of known examples with the visual appearance of a VG card: SGC 20 FR
