Description: Rare Babe Ruth die cut advertising display piece c.1940s. Large die cut cardboard store display measuring 26" wide by 40" tall pictures an image of Babe Ruth calling his home run in the 1932 World Series after the original painting by Robert Riggs. The sign advertises Cortley Men's Toiletries and retains its original easel backstand. Condition is very fine with some typical minor age/handling wear incl. a few corner dings and some light scratching. Matted and framed: EX
