Description: Kent Tekulve Pitt. Pirates professional model hat c.1979. Classic pillbox style hat as worn by popular relief pitcher Kent Tekulve. Hat retains its New Era tagging on the inside headband. "27" is written under the bill along with Tekulve's autograph and "1979 World Champs" (not in Tekulve's hand). The hat exhibits evident use incl. perspiration soiling. The front of the hat retains (9) original "Stargell's Stars" which were awarded to players for various accomplishments.
