Description: Baseball figural candy container c.1910-20. Very fine candy container in the shape of a period baseball player, which is depicted in full flannel uniform with a striped pillbox hat and miniature leather belt. The head is made of hand painted bisque porcelain with intricate detail. The condition is very strong overall with one repaired chip to the toe area of the right foot and the original bat is missing. The body has also been adhered together at the center where the candy receptacle is located. 9" tall: EX
