Description: ***LATE ADDITION** Minor League Hornets hockey jersey and related equipment c.1940-50s. Rare vintage hockey sweater jersey attributed to a player with the last name "Hitz" retaining its original "Hornets" lettering across the front and having #17 on the reverse. The jersey retains its original Cosby mfg. tag inside the collar along with size and dry clean tags. The shirt itself exhibit sheavy use incl. staining (incl. blood), few small holes, and general wear. The lot also includes various other pieces of equipment incl. hockey pants, pair of leather hockey gloves, pair of hockey knee pads, and matching wool socks. Several of the other items have "Hitz" written in vintage black ink. Desirable period uniform originated from a Pittsburgh area estate: Range VG-EX
