Rare and desirable period album page display features an image of the famed Four Horsemen of Notre Dame along with four individual cut signatures. Included are Harry Stuhldreher, Don Miller, Jimmy Crowley, and Elmer Layden. Signatures range from 8-10 out of 10. Overall size of the album page is a notable 8"x11". The Four Horsemen became the best known backfield in Collegiate football history through the famous writings of Grantland Rice who noted, "Outlined against a blue-gray October sky, the Four Horsemen rode again. In dramatic lore they are known as famine, pestilence, destruction, and death. These are only aliases. Their real names are: Stuhldreher, Miller, Crowley, and Layden...".
