Description: Fine 1888 "Boston Base Ball Club" print. Large format 17"x23" engraving of a game scene at Boston with illustrated player bodies and matching photographic heads. Spectators are similarly depicted incl. Harry Wright and other baseball magnates. Marked G.H. Hastings 1888, print retains exceptional clarity and contrast with some light areas of foxing primarily to the margins. The print also has a very minor surface wrinkle at the top left and is housed in a Victorian burl walnut veneered frame with floral gilt overlay: EX
