Description: Thurman Munson professional model baseball bat c.1977-79. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 30.6oz. The bat shows evident usage incl. ball marks, pine tar residue, and a light handle crack. Vintage "15" is written in black marker on both the knob and barrel ends. Munson remains to date one of the more beloved and revered New York Yankee players whose death in an airplane crash remains one of the most tragic moments in franchise history.
