Description: 1961 Roger Maris single signed baseball. Lt. cream color Rawlings "Official League" ball signed on a side panel, "To Dale Good Luck Roger Maris 1961" in black ink. Signature rates 8 out of 10. The ball has been consigned by the original recipient, who obtained the ball in 1961. During the 1961 season, Maris was a guest speaker at a company meeting that "Dale's" sister attended; she had the ball signed for her brother while there. The offered baseball is one of the very few known examples that not only references Maris' famed 1961 season, but was also signed in the period during the 1961 season.
