Description: Early Roberto Clemente auto. check cashing receipt stub c.1955. Unlined stub signed by Roberto Clemente in August of 1955 after he cashed one of his Pirates paychecks from his rookie season. The stub measures 4" long and has period ink notations from the pharmacy at which it was signed on both front and back. Blue ink signature rates 9 out of 10. Very unusual early playing career Clemente signed item which is being offered by the original proprietor of the pharmacy for the first time publicly. Includes LOA from James Spence Authentication: NM
